Public API reference 0.4.0

The API reference now describes what the API already accepts and returns. No endpoint changed behaviour.

  • VM delete documents its optional body. public_ip_action (reserve or release) is required when the VM has an automatically assigned public IP, and reserve also needs reserved_ip_billing_catalog.
  • VM create documents the launch network options vpc_id, subnet_id, network_connectivity, vpc_attachment_mode and reserved_public_ip_id, and inline ssh_keys.
  • VM and firewall group lists take limit (default 10, at most 100) and offset.
  • Snapshot create, backup enable, manual backup runs and volume attach require billing_catalog.
  • VPC create accepts connectivity_type: private.
  • Billing eligibility accepts resource_type, quantity, size_gb and operation, and returns resource_limits and, when a plan limit refuses, resource_limit_key, resource_limit and resource_usage.
  • Secret Store GET /secret-store/identities/{identity_id}/access is listed under secret-store.write, the scope the gateway already requires, because each call mints a new credential.
  • Errors share one documented body (error, required_scope, billing_reason, billing_sku_code, admission_context_id), and operations now list the 402, 423, 429 and 503 responses they can return.

Public API reference 0.4.1

VM create now lists site_id as required (the API already refused a create without it), VM plan and root-disk resizes accept an optional billing_catalog, and block-storage volumes show the metadata.billing_catalog that volume attach needs.
